Based on science, delivered with compassion
We help enable leaders, teams, and organizations to envision the possibilities of a path forward and develop action plans and skills to get there.

What we do
We start with a conversation. We seek to understand your unique needs and the outcomes you want to achieve.
We focus on strengths and possibilities. We draw on and draw out the best of who you are to be the best that you can be.
We create spaces for resolving issues and innovating. We facilitate honest conversations that result in mutual respect, alignment, and decisions that stick.
We coach, consult, and capability-build. We guide clients along a continuum from which vision, framework, and skills emerge and develop.
The values that drive our work
Optimism is a mental attitude
It’s a choice and a skill that can be learned and practiced. By making a conscious effort to focus on the positive aspects and possibility of a situation, and expecting the best possible outcome. It’s resilience and the belief that good things will happen and we will bounce back regardless of set-backs and challenging circumstances. Reframing the negative to find opportunity and focusing on the present and being solution-focused. Practicing gratitude and appreciating what is good. Setting realistic and achievable goals. Cultivating relationships and communities that uplift and inspire. Choosing optimism improves and enhances mental and physical health, increases motivation, perseverance, and achievement. Ultimately improving overall well-being, fulfilling life and a brighter future.
Intention is a mental state
It involves a commitment to a course of action. It’s the conscious decision and deliberate act to do something with a specific goal or purpose. Intention is commitment, dedication and resolve backed with motivation and by action. Intentional actions can lead to significant transformations. Acting with intention helps us to stay present, aware and focused. Intentional communication and behavior can strengthen relationships, attract positive experiences and opportunities. It’s the spark that ignites action, the seed from which thoughts grow. The combination of intention and effort leads to meaningful results.
Compassion is a profound human emotion
It involves a deep sense of empathy, kindness and tolerance. Accepting and respecting differences and operating with consideration and concern for other and acting with desire and motivation to support and alleviate the challenges, struggles and suffering of others. Compassion is a choice and making a conscious effort to be more compassionate will improve our ability to connect with another person’s challenges, obstacles and pain. Compassion can lead to deeper and more meaningful relationships, boost your own sense of well-being, increase resilience and ability to navigate and cope with adversity. Compassion acts can create a more caring and inclusive world. Responding with kindness, curiosity and understanding can improve our own life and that of others, support and solve the complexities of life and lead a thriving existence.

By integrating your models, assessments, values, and culture and by integrating your core themes with the simulation learning, IE’s facilitators tailor discussions in truly effective ways.
Rooted in Experiential Learning
Encompass Learning challenges learners to “do the work” of learning, asking thoughtful questions to push groups and organizations to think and apply concepts to their own roles, issues, environments, and opportunities. Our facilitators engage and demonstrate rather than tell. We provide data, information, discourse, and perspectives to encourage clients to formulate their own conclusions, visions, and actions.
Flexible
Encompass Learning facilitation is anything but canned. Facilitators use their experience to respond in the moment to the needs of participants and the organization.
